Refined notification system for active campaigns

We’ve enhanced the notification workflow for campaigns to ensure employees receive timely and relevant updates without unnecessary alerts or confusion.

What’s changed:

Previously, all employees automatically received email notifications when a group was assigned to a campaign linked to a checklist. However, this process lacked clarity and control during updates to active campaigns, such as group changes, checklist edits, or new checklist assignments.

To address this, we’ve introduced a 'Send task assignment notification to employee(s)' checkbox for better control over notifications.

New behavior:

  1. Checkbox visibility:

    The checkbox will now appear on:

    • Employee group change/add panel

    • Group Checklist change panel

  2. Notification control:

    When the checkbox is ticked, an email notification will be sent to relevant employees about their new tasks.

    • For 'Employee Group' changes: Send notifications to employees added to or moved into a new group.

    • For 'Group Checklist' changes or 'New Checklist' items: Send notifications to all employees associated with that group.
