Resetting Offboarded and Terminated Employees
What is this feature?
In this release, we're introducing important enhancements to employee management on the Scrut platform. We're adopting more ethical practices by removing the "Delete Employee" functionality and introducing new options for resetting offboarding and termination statuses. These changes align with industry standards and promote responsible employee management practices.
Use case/Pain point solved
The lack of options to correct offboarding and termination statuses meant that users had limited flexibility in managing employee transitions, leading to potential inaccuracies in employee records and administrative challenges. To solve this, we have introduced "Reset Offboarding Completed" and "Reset Termination" options to allow users to correct offboarding and termination statuses when mistakes occur. This allows for more accurate employee records and smoother transitions between different employment statuses.
How does it work?
Removed "Delete Employee"
The "Delete Employee" option has been removed from the Scrut platform as this should be aligned with ethical standards and industry best practices.
"Reset Offboarding Completed":
If an employee has been mistakenly marked as offboarding completed, users can now utilize the "Reset Offboarding Completed" option inside the three dots of each employee to revert the employee's status back to "Offboarding Needed".
Reset Termination:
In cases where an employee has been marked as "Offboarding Needed" due to administrative reasons or if the user wishes to retain the employee, the new "Reset Termination" option allows users to revert the status back to "Training Incomplete".
