Resolve failing cloud tests faster with smarter fix guidance from Scrut Teammates

What's new?

Scrut Teammates now provides richer, more actionable fix guidance for cloud tests. When you open a cloud test, a Terraform fix generated by Teammates is shown by default. You can also switch to the AWS CLI or CloudFormation to match your team's preferred workflow. Each fix includes a confidence score, a view of all resources tied to that fix, and a cleaner, more readable layout. You can copy the fix, raise a Jira ticket directly from the same view, ask follow-up questions, or regenerate the fix if the initial suggestion needs adjustment.

Why was this needed?

Resolving a failing cloud test previously required interpreting fix guidance without knowing how reliable it was, and without the flexibility to get the fix in the format your team actually uses. With confidence scores, multiple fix type options, and conversational follow-up built into the same view, you have everything you need to evaluate and act on a fix without breaking your workflow.

How it works

  • Navigate to Compliance -> Cloud and open a failing cloud test to view its details.

  • Review the Terraform fix shown by default, or switch to AWS CLI or CloudFormation using the fix type selector to match your team's workflow.

  • Check the confidence score to assess how reliable the suggested fix is before applying it.

  • Review the list of all resources associated with the fix to understand the full scope of the change.

  • Copy the fix directly from the view, or click to create a Jira ticket with the fix details pre-populated.

  • Ask Teammates a follow-up question if you need clarification, or click regenerate to get a revised fix suggestion.
