Bug Fix

Run entity-specific audits scoped to accurate controls, artifacts, and metrics

AUTHOR: The folks at Scrut

What's new?

Audits created for specific entities now display only controls and artifacts scoped to that entity or tagged organization-wide. Previously, audits showed controls and artifacts from all entities, causing incorrect control status, inaccurate metrics, and cross-entity data leakage. This update ensures complete entity isolation throughout the audit workflow.

Why was this needed?

Entity-specific audits now provide accurate, focused views that reflect only the controls and evidence relevant to that entity. This eliminates confusion during external audits, ensures auditors see only authorized data, and produces accurate audit-readiness scores and reports. Findings and requests are now automatically restricted to the audit's scoped entity, preventing compliance gaps and data exposure.

How it works

  • Create an audit for a specific entity and select your framework

  • View only controls scoped to that entity or tagged as organization-wide in the Requirements section

  • See only artifacts connected to the audited entity in evidence tasks and control details

  • Generate entity-specific audit readiness scores and reports that exclude out-of-scope data

  • Create findings and requests limited to the audited entity only
