Save accurate organization names that match legal records
What's new?
You can now include standard punctuation such as periods, commas, apostrophes, ampersands, parentheses, slashes, hyphens, and underscores while entering your organization name in Scrut.
Why was this needed?
Characters that appear in real company names were previously rejected, forcing workarounds like dropping punctuation or abbreviating in ways that did not match official records. With this update, the name you enter in Scrut matches your organization's legal name and how it renders in branded communications.
How it works
Navigate to Settings -> Organization Info.
Edit the Organization Name or Legal Name field.
Enter your company name using any supported characters, including dots, commas, apostrophes, ampersands, parentheses, slashes, hyphens, and underscores.
Save your changes.
