Scrut now supports Microsoft Teams integration

What’s new?

Scrut now integrates with Microsoft Teams, allowing you to receive real-time notifications and alerts directly in your organization’s Teams workspace. This helps you stay updated on compliance, security, and task activity, without switching platforms.

Why it matters

With this integration, you can stay on top of tasks, improve response times, and centralize updates within your team's existing communication tool.

How it works

Once your Microsoft Teams account is connected:

• Go to Settings → Notifications in Scrut

• Choose which alerts to receive and configure them by user or group

• Scrut will then send real-time messages in your Teams channels or DMs for:

  • Task reminders

    • Personal task reminders

    • Employee task reminders

  • Alerts include:

    • Trust Center access

    • Security report ready

    • Sample data available

    • Test status changes (e.g., OK → Needs Attention)

    • Scrut Monitor health changes

    • Integration failures

    • Vendor-related alerts

Once configured, notifications will appear directly in your assigned Teams channels or personal chat.
