Select Controls in Bulk: Faster Audits, Policies & Framework Mapping

What is this feature?

This enhancement introduces a 'Bulk Selection' feature for controls across multiple modules in the Scrut platform. Users can now select multiple controls simultaneously using checkboxes, including a 'Select All' option. This improves efficiency and simplifies workflows**.** Also, as part of this release, we have updated the 'Edit Controls' button to 'Update Controls' across the platform for better clarity.

Problem statement

Users must select controls individually when performing actions like creating audits, managing controls, or linking them to frameworks and assessments. This is inefficient and time-consuming, particularly when dealing with many controls, negatively impacting productivity.

How does it work?

1. The user navigates to the control selection modal in any module.

2. A "Select All” option allows users to select all controls in bulk. Users can also select the check box and select all the controls on the same page.

   

3. Users can apply filters (e.g., framework, category) and bulk-select filtered results.

4. After selecting controls, the user can navigate to the next step.

5. We have also updated the “Edit Controls” button to “Update Controls” across the platform for better clarity.
