Simplified User Creation During Artifact Assignment

What is this feature?

In this release, we're introducing a streamlined process for user creation within the platform, addressing the inconvenience users face when trying to assign a user who doesn't exist in the system. With the new "Add New User" option available during the assignment, users can seamlessly create new users on-the-fly, eliminating the need for multi-step processes and improving workflow efficiency.

In the first phase, these changes have been implemented for modules such as Policy, Evidence, Risk Management, Audit Center, Corrective Action Tracker, and Vendor Management, and in the next phases, the same will be implemented for the remaining modules.

How does it work?

  1. Users attempting to assign a task or role to a non-existent user now have the option to click "Add New User" directly from the assignment page.

  1. Upon selecting "Add New User", a modal window prompts users to enter the necessary details for the new user.

  1. Once the new user is created, they are automatically assigned to the task, policy, or assignment the user was in the process of creating, streamlining the workflow and ensuring seamless continuity.
