Track customer actions in your Trust Portal with enhanced audit logs

What changed?

Audit Logs in your Trust Portal just got a major upgrade. We’ve added separate Audit Log tabs for actions taken by customers and for actions taken by your internal teams.

Note: These improvements apply only to new audit log entries. Your historical logs remain unchanged, ensuring data continuity.

Why does it matter?

Previously, customer actions and internal changes were bundled together, making it hard to track who did what. With these updates, you get a clean view that separates customer activity from internal actions—so you can track document access, trust requests, and configuration changes with greater confidence and clarity.

How it works:

  • Two distinct log views are now available:

    • Customer Activity Audit Log

    • Internal Audit Logs (platform updates in Overview and Access tabs)

  • 'Customer Activity' audit log: A new, dedicated Audit Log tab tracks actions taken by your customers, such as document views or trust requests, directly within the Trust Portal.

  • 'Audit Logs' Tab: This is a new, dedicated log tab for changes made in Trust Vault Settings—isolated from general platform actions. It makes it easier to track who updated configurations and when.

  • More detailed logs: All audit logs now display the user’s name and email ID for added clarity, and document names are shown for actions like reclaim requests.
