Track timely training completions with SLA-enabled campaigns
What's new?
You can now add a Service Level Agreement (SLA), defined in days, to any training campaign to track and enforce on-time completion.
Why does it matter
This feature helps ensure that employees complete mandatory training promptly. With SLAs, you can measure who completes training "on time" versus "late," reducing compliance risk and using automated reminders to nudge overdue employees without manual follow-up.
How it works
Set an SLA: When creating a campaign, define an SLA in days (e.g., 14 days).
Track New Statuses: Employees are now categorized as:
Due: Not completed, but still within the SLA window
Overdue: Not completed and past the SLA deadline
Completed: Finished within SLA
Completed Late: Finished after the SLA deadline
Automated Nudges: Automated email and Slack/Teams notifications are sent as the SLA deadline approaches and once it passes, reminding employees to complete the training promptly. Here's a clear rundown of when Scrut sends these automatic reminders:
On assignment: Email/Slack/Teams alert with due date based on SLA.
SLA countdown: Optional daily reminders at 3, 2, 1 days remaining.
On due date: Morning reminder (“Due today”).
Post-SLA: Daily “Overdue” notifications until training is completed or the campaign ends.
Slack/MS Teams: Rich cards show campaign info, due/overdue status, and a one-click completion button.
