What changed?

Two powerful updates have been rolled out to our Asana integration, making it easier to stay compliant without leaving your existing workflows:

  1. Two-way task sync: Tasks completed in Asana are now automatically updated in Scrut.

  2. Access Reviews: You can now evaluate user access and roles across Asana workspaces directly within Scrut.

Why does it matter?

Now, when a task is created in Scrut and is completed in Asana, its status is synced back, helping you track remediation and evidence collection with zero manual effort.

Plus, with Access Reviews for Asana, you can review who has access, what roles they hold, and spot inactive or overprivileged accounts—all from within Scrut. This supports faster, more accurate audits and ongoing access reviews.

How it works:

  • For task sync: When tasks created in Scrut are completed in Asana, their status now automatically updates in Scrut.

  • For Access Reviews: Scrut pulls user access and roles across your Asana workspaces into the Scrut Access Review module. From the Scrut platform, you can directly:

    • View user roles and access across Asana workspaces

    • Identify inactive or misaligned accounts

    • Review access in bulk

No additional admin setup is required once Asana is integrated.
