UI/UX Improvement: Merging Controls & Requirements View to efficiently link artifacts

We're excited to announce a UI/UX improvement that streamlines your compliance management experience!

This update introduces a unified view for managing controls and requirements, eliminating the need to switch between separate tabs.

Use case/Pain point solved

Previously, users had separate tabs for 'Controls' and 'Requirements.' This could be confusing, especially for new users who primarily work with controls. It also required users who prefer requirements to navigate between tabs to link them to controls. This merged view addresses both issues:

• Reduced complexity: New users can focus on controls as the primary method for linking artifacts, eliminating the need to switch between tabs.

• Enhanced efficiency: Users who prefer requirements can still search for them within the unified view and seamlessly link them to controls.

Impact on workflows

This unified view streamlines various compliance workflows, including:

1. Policy creation and detail: Manage policies and their associated controls within a single tab.

2. Evidence creation and detail: Efficiently link evidence to controls directly.

3. Risk assessment flow, risk detail, and test detail (now 'Control detail'): Conduct risk assessments and manage tests (now renamed to 'Controls') seamlessly within the unified view.

4. Corrective action: Address compliance issues without switching tabs.

5. Audit center request/finding creation: Manage audit activities with improved navigation.
