Vendor Custom Fields
Introducing Vendor Custom Fields in Scrut! This release empowers users to tailor their vendor profiles with additional custom fields, providing flexibility and customization in capturing vendor-specific information. Now, you can go beyond the default fields and capture data that matters most to your organization.
Use Case/Pain Point Solved
Pain Point: In previous versions, users were limited to default fields when creating vendor profiles, leaving them unable to capture specific details critical to their business processes.
Solution: With Vendor Custom Fields, users now have the ability to define and capture additional information about vendors, addressing the need for personalized and adaptable vendor profiles.
How Does It Work?
Navigate to the Vendor Management module from the main left menu.
Click on the 'Settings' icon.
Click 'New Field' to create a new custom field label.
Add the 'Custom Field' label and click 'Save'.
Click on a 'Vendor'.
In the "Details" tab, go to the "Custom Fields" section. Click on the 'Edit' icon to enter the 'Customer' field value.
Bulk Import Custom Field Values
Another way to add custom field values is via Bulk Import Vendors.
Click 'Import File'.
Click 'Download Template'.
Replace the template data with your vendor details, including custom field values.
Note: Custom Fields start from Column H.
Upload file.
