Vendor Reassessment Workflow

We're excited to announce a significant enhancement to our vendor management module – automated vendor reassessment workflows and notifications! This update simplifies the process of keeping your vendor risk assessments current and strengthens your overall security posture.

Pain Point Solved

Previously, manually tracking vendor assessment due dates and initiating reassessments was time-consuming and error-prone. This could lead to outdated risk profiles and potential security vulnerabilities.

How does it work?

1. Users can set a recurrence and next assessment date for the vendors in the assessed state. This indicates when the next assessment is due.

2. Users can set a custom recurrence as well.

3. On the next assessment date, the vendor's status changes to 'Needs Reassessment'.

4. One week prior to the next assessment date, a notification is sent to the assignee of the vendor to re-evaluate the vendor.

Note: This notification can be turned on from the 'Notifications' part of the 'Settings'.

5. When the status shows 'Needs Reassessment', the user sends a questionnaire, and the status of the vendors changes to 'In Progress'.

6. The 'Needs Reassessment' metric has been added to the 'Vendor Dashboard'. Users can click on it to see which vendors need reassessment.
